Mrs. Gangi worked for the Silver Creek Central School System for 14 years, first in the cafeteria and later as a teacher's aide. She also worked for Carrier Coach as a driver.
She was member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Silver Creek. She was an animal lover and avid sports fan. Mrs. Gangi enjoyed gardening, crocheting and going to casinos.
She was the wife of the late Samuel Gangi; daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Snizek) Jurek; mother of Elaine Gangi of Silver Creek and Nino Gangi of San Diego, CA; and sister of Jerome Jurek of Lackawanna; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
