Mrs. Bowers worked in the dietary department at Tri-County Memorial Hospital in Gowanda for 15 years. She loved to sing and create colored art pictures.
She was the wife of the late Leland Bowers; daughter of the late William and Jennie (Fuller) Brooks; mother of Linda (Gary) Nash of Perrysburg, Paul (Nancy) Bowers, George Bowers and Jay (Alice) Bowers, all of Gowanda; and sister of Henry Brooks of Watsburg, PA, Criselda Lipka of North Carolina, and the late William Brooks and Nellie Youngs; also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson, Mark Nash.
Memorials may be made to the Gowanda Assembly of God's Mark Nash Scholarship Fund or the Gowanda Ambulance.
