Mrs. Powers was a retired nurse from the Gowanda Psychiatric Center and a member of the Collins Home Bureau.
She was the wife of the late John L. Powers; mother of Margaret (William) VanSlyke; and sister of the late Frederick Fess and Duncan McLeod; also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Collins Volunteer Fire Department, the Gowanda Ambulance Service, or The Collins Friends Meeting Church.
Arrangements were by the Wentland Funeral Home, North Collins.
