Mr. Parsell retired from the Erie County Highway Department as general foreman after 43 years.
He was a member of the Slovenian Club of Gowanda, the Moose Lodge of Gowanda, American Legion Post 409 and VFW Post 5007.
He was the husband of Dorothy (Adams) Parsell; son of the late Henry and Myrtle (Grimm) Parsell; father of Debbie Conroy of North Collins, Jerry, Laverne and Jim Parsell, all of Collins; and brother of the late Elwin Parsell; also survived by 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
