Mrs. Allen was a retired nurses' aide at the Gowanda Psychiatric Center. She was a member of the Moose Auxiliary, Brooksville, and the Gowanda Firemen's Auxiliary.
She was the wife of the late Chester J. Allen; daughter of Clayton and Mae Smith; mother of Michelle Allen; and sister of June Ellis, Joyce Purdy and James Smith; also survived by two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
