After selling their farms, Mrs. Ortolano and her husband established an excavating business, George Ortolano Inc. in Silver Creek, which is now in its third generation of operation.
She was a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Silver Creek. She enjoyed baking, knitting and playing cards.
She was the wife of the late George Ortolano; daughter of the late Joseph and Hyacinth (Dolce) Tortorice; mother of George J. (Beatrice) Ortolano of Silver Creek and the late Samuel and Joseph Ortolano; and sister of the late Michael, Anthony, Santa and Nancy; also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were by the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, Silver Creek.
