David S. Barone
     David S. Barone, 73, of Silver Creek, died Oct. 21, 2003.
     Mr. Barone was a lifelong Silver Creek resident and 1948 Silver Creek High School graduate. He attended RIT with a major in art. He was best known in the Silver Creek area for his artwork as a design and sign artist. In addition, he was a school bus driver for the Silver Creek School District.
     Mr. Barone was a member of the Silver Creek Central School Board. He also spent considerable energy in trying to improve the conditions of the bus garage.
     He belonged to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church and was a past member of the Silver Creek Volunteer Fire Department. An avid reader, Mr. Barone also liked viewing his collection of movies.
     He was the son of the late Charles and Irene Barone; father of Gregory Barone, Timothy Barone and Richard Bartlett, all of Silver Creek, Mark Barone and David Barone II, both of Buffalo, Michelle Barone Krawczyk of Buffalo, Jayne Barone of Grand Island, Jennifer Barone Maly of Detroit, and the late Lisa Barone and Scott Bartlett; and brother of Dorothy Smith and John Barone, both of Silver Creek, Charles Barone of California, Raymond Barone of Long Island, Paul Barone of Dunkirk, and the late Margaret Burt and Virginia Dolce; also survived by 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
     Arrangements were by the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel Inc., Silver Creek.
