Arlene M. (Steenberg) Lamb, 74, of Gowanda, died Oct. 23, 2003. Mrs. Lamb graduated from Gowanda Central School in 1947. She was employed as a medical transcriber for Venice Hospital in Venice, FL for many years and in the same position for J.N. Adam Developmental Center and the former Gowanda Psychiatric Center. She was a member of the Gowanda Free Methodist Church and was active with the Englewood (FL) Women of the Moose Lodge 1582. She was the wife of Lee J. Lamb Sr.; daughter of the late Donald C. and Ida (Sherman) Steenberg; mother of Lee J. (Teri) Lamb Jr. of Rockville, IN, Patricia J. (Dennis) Anderson, also of Rockville, and Lisa M. (Paul) Labelle of Gowanda; and sister of Donna Abers of Gowanda; also survived by 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Comstock Hospice. Arrangements were by the Schindler Funeral Home, Gowanda. |
