Nettie E. Thompson

Nettie E. (Greene) Thompson, 90, a resident of the Chautauqua County Home in Dunkirk, formerly of Van Buren Bay, Dunkirk and Cassadaga, died Oct. 10, 2003.      Mrs. Thompson was a graduate of the former Sinclairville High School. She enjoyed gardening.      She was the wife of the late Leon C. Thompson; daughter of the late Fred and Ethel (Simpson) Greene; mother of Janet (Gorman) Saunders of Van Buren Bay, Dunkirk and Leon E. Thompson of Forestville; and sister of Evelyn Mangine of Cassadaga, Robert L. (Jane) Greene of Bradenton, FL, and the late Harriet Clark, Maude Haas, Florence Eddy, Nancy Greene, Pauline Schwertfager and Charles Greene; also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.      Arrangements were by the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville.
