William Nelson
     William C. Nelson, 96, a resident of TLC/HN-Lake Shore Nursing Home, formerly of Robertsdale, AL, Allegany and Forestville, died Sept. 14, 2003 at his residence following a brief illness.
     Mr. Nelson had one time worked in the oil fields in Chipmunk, NY, then he owned and operated a dairy and beef farm in the Town of Villenova and worked as an electrician for the former Allegheny-Ludlum Steel Corp. of Dunkirk. He also enjoyed gardening.
     He was the husband of Anna Mae (Ort) Nelson of Stockton; son of the late William H. Nelson and Vivian Anderson; father of Barbara J. (Richard) Wise of South Dayton, Beverly A. (Rodney) Case of Canton, NC; and stepbrother of the late Ted Schuller; also survived by eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
     A memorial service will he held at a later date from the Hamlet United Methodist Church (time and date to be announced).
     Memorials may be made to the Stockton Fire Department Emergency and Rescue Squad.
     Arrangements were by the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville.
