Bernadine Jackson
     Bernadine Marie (Roach) Jackson, of Gowanda, died June 27, 2003.
     Mrs. Jackson taught in Phelps and Gowanda, and had been the high school librarian in Cattaraugus for more than 20 years.
     In Gowanda, she was involved in the Girl Scouts of America, Monday Evening Literary Guild, Tri-County Hospital Auxiliary and First Presbyterian Church.
     She was the wife of the late William A. Jackson; mother of Linda Jackson Evans and Cheryl Jackson Poules; and sister of Barbara R. McCaffrey; also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
     Memorial donations may be made to the William A. Jackson Scholarship Fund at the Gowanda Elementary School or the First Presbyterian Church of Gowanda.
     Arrangements were by the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., Gowanda.
