Mr. Nichols was an LPN until retirement in1983. He attended GCS until he joined the Air Force. He was a member of Strasburg Baptist Church and Disabled Veterans Association.
He was the husband of Mary Ellen Nichols; son of Theodore R. Nichols and Margaret Nichols Hartman; father of Jim Nichols of Harrisonville, MO, Steven Nichols of Germany, Diane Bolinger of Harrisonville, MO, and Rachael Murray of Pleasant Hill, MO; and brother of Margaret Crumb of Gowanda, Garnetta Kellogg Mazur of Lorraine, OH, Lucille Paster of Cuba, NY, Bertha Hamrick of Oberlin, OK, Diane Loue of Huntsville, TN, Larry Nichols of Lorraine, OH, and Timothy R. Nichols of Lorena, TX.
