Vernon "Duce" Isaac, of the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, died July 25, 2003. Mr. Isaac was a retired National Fuel employee, Chief of the Cayuga Nation, member of the Bear Clan, former lacrosse player, member of the Iroquois and Cowboy and Indian Horseshoe Club, the Isaac Snowsnake Team and the Newton Men's Singing Society. He was the husband of Luisa (Lay) Isaac; father of Randall, Lawrence (Debra) Isaac and the late Vernon G. Isaac; and brother of Chester Isaac, Florence Isaac, lnez Jimerson, Richard John and the late Jake, Chauncey and David Isaac and Rosetta George; also survived by 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were by the Wentland Funeral Home, North Collins. |
