Herbert Story

Herbert J. story, 64, of Collins Center, died July 11, 2003 at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital.      Mr. Story worked at Gowanda Psychiatric Center as a therapy aide and retired in 1991 at age 52. He also drove school bus for Springville Griffith Institute for 41 years and retired in 1999.      He was the husband of Marilyn A. (Witt) Story; father of Denise (Jim) Northrup of Perry, Leonard (Cheryl) Story and Jeffrey (Dawn) Story, both of Springville; and brother of Don (Dorothy) Story of Collins, Melvin (Pat) Story of Florida, Jack (Pat) Story of Otto, Betty (George) Carozzi of Lawtons, and the late Charles Story; also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.      Expressions of sympathy may be made to Collins Center Fire Company or Salem Lutheran Church.      Arrangements were by the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, Inc., Springville.
