Gertrude Hausser

Gertrude M. (Bassinger) Hausser, 86, formerly of Gowanda and Cattaraugus, died July 15, 2003 at the Lakeshore Nursing Home.      Mrs. Hausser was a homemaker and a member of the Home Bureau. She was an avid gardener.      She was the wife of the late Gust C. Hausser; daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Belle (Meyers) Bassinger; mother of Beverly Nenno of Lake View, Phyllis (Donald) Reason of Cattaraugus, and Loretta (Jonathan) Davis of Gowanda; and sister of Nellie Kasbahm of Fredonia, and the late Flossie Bassinger, Ray and Willie Bassinger; also survived by three grandsons, two granddaughters, one stepgrandson, four great-grandchildren, and two stepgreat-grandchildren.      Memorials may be made to SASI (Therapeutic Riding) at Judy Feinei, High Hurdles, PO Box 526, Allen Road, Sardinia, NY 14134.      Arrangements were by the Hills Funeral Chapel, Gowanda.
