Josephine Lancione
     Josephine M. (Scarlata) Lancione, 82, of Silver Creek, died June 25, 2003 at The Waters of Westfield.
     A lifelong resident of Silver Creek, Mrs. Lancione was a homemaker.
     In her younger years, she was active in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, a Cub Scout Den Mother for many years, and served as a volunteer for the March of Dimes.
     Mrs. Lancione was a member of Home Bureau. She enjoyed crafts and was an avid Yankees and Bills fan.
     She was the wife of the late Anthony L. Lancione; daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Amico) Scarlata; mother of Rose Ann Lancione of Silver Creek, and the late Nicholas Lancione; and sister of Charles Scarlata and Louise Borzillire, both of Silver Creek, Libbie Caruso of Westfield, and the late Frank Scarlata, Minnie Alfonso, Rose Botticello, Margaret Leone Horton and Helen Lalomia; also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
     Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
     Arrangements were by the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel Inc., Silver Creek.
