Helen Parsell

Helen M. (Priest) Parsell, 78, of Gowanda, died June 25, 2003 at Seneca Manor in West Seneca.      A homemaker, Mrs. Parsell had been the substitute site manager for the Cattaraugus County Department of Aging since 1993.      She was the wife of the late Elwin Parsell; daughter of the late Maurice and Mildred (Earle) Priest; mother of Mark Hebner of Cattaraugus, Timothy Parsell of Collins, Sally (William) O'Brien of Murfreesboro, TN, and Barbara (Ronald) Ryals of Cantonement, FL; and sister of Donald Priest of Cattaraugus, Ronald Priest of Otto, Mary (Wesley) Sherlock of Little Valley, and the late Hazel Brown; also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews; and predeceased by twin granddaughters.      Memorials may be made to the Western New York Cystic Fibrosis Association or the charity of one's choice.      Arrangements were by the Schindler Funeral Home, Gowanda.
