New York State Police report — Collins Barracks
• Aaron John, 21, no address given, was charged Aug. 8 with DWI following a personal injury one-car accident on Snow Road in Irving.
Authorities say that John was driving his SUV west at an imprudent rate of speed around a curve, when it left the roadway and sideswiped a tree. The SUV then returned to the road and flipped onto the passenger side.
John and two other passengers were not injured; however a fourth passenger was flown to ECMC with a head injury.
State Troopers also say that John’s BAC was .16 percent. He is due in North Collins Town Court.
• Robert Delaney, 28, of Hamburg, was charged Aug. 16 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possessing perscription medication outside the original container after being stopped on Route 62 in North Coffins for inadequate brake lights.
Authorities say that Delaney gave the Troopers his insurance card in a plastic holder that appeared to have a piece of marijuana in it. The Trooper said he also noted an odor of burnt marijuana coming from the car.
A search of Delaney’s vehicle produced 12 Hydrocodone tablets loose inside the center console with no percription bottle in the car.
Delaney is due in North Collins Town Court.
• Jasper Wolfe, 31, of Main Street, Arcade, was charged Aug. 18 with unlawful possession of marijuana after being stopped on Richardson Road in Collins for traffic violations.
Authorities say that Wolfe was found with a pipe containing marijuana.
Wolfe is due in Collins Town Court.
• Sarah Archer, 22, of Iroquois Drive, Irving, was charged Aug. 19 with DWI following a one-car accident on Indian Hill Road in Gowanda.
Authorities say that Archer’s SUV was southbound when it crossed the centerline, ran off the east shoulder into a wooded area, struck a tree and overturned onto its roof.
Archer was taken to Lake Shore Hospital with minor injuries and blood was drawn to determine her BAC.
Archer is due in Perrysburg Town Court.
• Tracy Norton, 35, of Buffalo Road, Irving, was charged Aug. 28 with DWI after being stopped on Eden-Evans Center Road in Evans.
Authorities say they saw Norton cross the hazard line, stopped her and found her to be intoxicated.
Norton was proccessed at the Collins Barracks and had a reportable BAC of .11 percent. She is due in Evans Town Court.
• Martha Nephew, 32, of Bagdad Road,Gowanda, was charged with unlawful possesion of marijuana following a disturbance call at her home.
Authorities say that during the call they found a glass pipe with marijuana in it, and found a small amount of marijuana.
Nephew is due in Collins Town Court.
• Mark Silvestri, 23, of Centennial Court, West Seneca, was charged Aug. 31 with fourth-degree grand larceny, first-degree falsifying business records, and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing.
Authorities say that State Police and New York State Department of Labor investigations determined that Silvestri collected $2,284 in unemployment benefits from September 2007 to October 2008 while working in other jobs.
Silvestri is due in West Seneca Court.
• Jennifer Garrett, 33, of Burnie Lane, Buffalo, was charged Sept. 1 with third-degree grand larceny, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and 10 counts of falsifying business records.
Authorities say that State Police and New York State Department of Labor Investigators determined that Garrett collected $4,393 in unemployment benefits from July 2007 to January 2008,while she was employed in Buffalo and Williamsville.
• Justin McCormick, 34, of Amherst Street, Buffalo; Daniel Cogliano, 31, of Edwards Street, Buffalo; and Jason Draper, 30, of Manchester Place, Buffalo, were charged Sept. 2 with thirddegree criminal trespassing after being found on the former JN Adam Hospital grounds.
Authorities say the three were found in the dining area by State Troopers and a deputy.
McCormick, ,Cogliano and Draper are due in Perrysburg Town Court.
