Enrollment assistance/information for Child Health Plus

     New York State’s income eligibility levels for Child Health Plus increased, effective July 1. The Healthy Community Alliance offers information and enrollment assistance for Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, and Medicaid to Erie County residents. For Cattaraugus County residents, the Alliance offers information and referrals to link people with enrollment assistance.

     In addition to the Alliance’s Gowanda office, appointments are available at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital in Springville or in or near someone’s home community to make enrollment more convenient and accessible.      Child Health Plus covers children up to age 19 while Family Health Plus is for adults over the age of 19, offering free, comprehensive health coverage with eligibility based on income and.family size.
