Gowanda Police log

  •  Clifton-Hubert Lynch III, 26, of South Dayton, was charged Sept. 2 with two counts of criminal mischief after Patrol responded to a complaint.

     Authorities say that a female victim claimed that Lynch broke her cell phone and the turn signal in her vehicle.

     Lynch is due in Persia Town Court.

  •  Elizabeth M. Blattenberger, 34, of Sinclairville, was charged Sept. 2 with endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly leaving a child alone for two days while she stayed at a friend’s house. Blattenberger is due in Persia Town Court.

  •  Steven J. Benjamin, 44, of Silver Creek, was charged Sept. 2 with criminal trespassing and criminal mischief after allegedly kicking open a motel door, which damaged the molding inside.

     Authorities say that Benjamin did not have permission from the tenant to enter the room.

     Benjamin is due in Collins Town Court.

  •  Charles Williams, 27, of Gowanda, was charged Sept. 5 with speeding, no driver’s license and unlawful possession of marijuana after being stopped on Sandhill Road for a traffic violation. Authorities say that a computer check revealed that the defendant did not have a driver’s license. Also, Williams admitted to Patrol that he had a marijuana pipe in his vehicle.

     Williams is due in Collins Town Court.

  •  Austin D. Breedlove, 21, of California, was charged Sept. 6 with suspended registration, no driver’s license and no license plate light after being stopped on Palmer Street for a traffic violation.

     Authorities say that a computer check revealed that Breedlove’s vehicle registration had been suspended for not having insurance.

     Breedlove is due in Persia Town Court.

  •  Eric W. Dustin, 24, of South Dayton, was charged Sept. 6 with DWI, reckless driving, open container of alcohol, failure to keep right and aggravated unlicensed operation after being stopped on Aldrich Street for a traffic violation.

     Authorities say that a computer check revealed that Dustin’s license had been suspended for a prior DWI.

     Dustin was arraigned in Persia Town Court and transported to Cattaraugus County Jail.
