Change in NFTA schedule

     I was informed this week that there was a change in the bus time for the NFTA Bus #216 Gowanda-McKinley Mall.

     One change is on the times for the first run. It is now feasible to use this service for commuting to Buffalo.

     The start time from Gowanda is 6:16 a.m.You can then change to the #74 Bus in Hamburg with a two- to eight-minute wait. This will get you to Buffalo for an 8 a.m. start.

     The return trip leaves Buffalo at 4:47p.m. (#74) with a change in Hamburg; wait time appears to be 10 to 15 minutes. You will arrive back in Gowanda at 6:30 p.m.

     The one-way fare to Buffalo is $3. A monthly pass (all zones) is $66.

     This change is good for commuters, college students, etc. We need to use this service to retain this service.
