Bowling for Strikes - On Feb. 4, the kids and staff members of Collins Recreation went on a bowling trip to the Eden Bowling Center. Both little and big kids participated, throwing strikes from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The kids had a blast using both regular and bumper lanes while showing their ability to beat the scores of staff members who were in attendance. Many more field trips are to follow including the Buffalo Sabres game on March 1 and the Shrine Circus in mid-March. Recreation hours are: Fridays 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. for the little kids (5-12) and 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. for the big kids (13-18). On Saturdays, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. for the little kids and 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. for the big kids. Guests are welcome to attend with a Collins resident for the small cost of 50 cents.
