  Hazard plan on file
in Gowanda Library

In response to the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000, the Cattaraugus County Department of Public Works and Emergency Services initiated a Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan to examine potential natural hazards that could affect Cattaraugus County.

As part of the plan requirements, the county forwarded a CD of the Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan to the Olean Public Library, Salamanca Public Library, Little Valley Memorial Library, Blount Library (Franklinville), Gowanda Free Library and the Randolph Free Library should anyone desire to review this plan.

The Cartaraugus County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan is also available for review on the county’s Web page. Hard copies are available upon request by contacting Crystal Gross at (716) 938-9121 extension 2442.
