First-Place Winners - On Oct. 8 at Pioneer Central School, the Gowanda Midget Jets Cheerleading squad took first place in the CCMFL Cheerleading Competition. The squad performed a combination of a cheer, mounts and dance and pompon routine. In first row is Mascot Casey Harrison. In row two are Ariel Blair, Hayley Osterstuck, Emma Oehler, Nicole Feliz and Roxanne Marsh. In row three are Chanel Gomez, Katelyn Friedhaber, Tianna Sprague and Melanie Morris. In row four are Stephanie Hedges, Chelsea Young, Jessica Kelly, Cayla Harrison, Angela Farris and Theresa Farris. In last row are Junior Coach Lindsey Tessmer, Head Coach Gigi Oehler, and Assistant Coach Charisse Sprague. Missing from the photo are Kristina Farner and Morgan Spoth.
