More Gowanda

     GCY wrote many letters to local businesses asking for donations. GCY teamed up with the Gowanda Honor Society to host an overnight lock-in at the high school on Oct. 7 and 8. Money donated from businesses was also used to buy tee-shirts. Businesses that donated at least $150 had their business name placed on the back of the shirts. All proceeds will be donated to the victims of Hurricane Katrina through the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. GCY was excited to be a part of bringing the village, the school and the businesses together to show support and commitment to helping others.
