Octoberfest Celebration - TLC Health Network’s long-term care residents celebrated an early Octoberfest with a multi-talented entertainer. A special Octoberfest celebration was held for the residents of the Nursing Home Units at the TLC Lake Shore Health Care Center on Sunday, Sept. 25 in the Emerald Dining Room. Nandor Desci, a multi-talented entertainer, provided music for the season as the residents danced and enjoyed refreshments. Desci wore authentic German attire including lederhosen, thus transporting the residents to a true Bavarian state of mind. Those of German descent said the program was “Truly Wunderbar!” Family members were also invited to share in this annual celebration.
