Off the starting line in his rookie 2004 season, local Seneca Nation native Kevin Seneca burned up the motorcycle drag strip to become ranked within the top half of the All-Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA) Screamin’ Eagle Performance Parts class. Twice, in Sturgis, SD and Brainerd, MN, Seneca appeared in the semifinal rounds.

     Kevin Seneca’s team, Red Dragon Racing from Silver Creek, will return in 2005, backed by the sponsorship and technical support of Gowanda Harley-Davidson. “We are very proud to support Red Dragon Racing,” says Gowanda Harley-Davidson President John Reid. “Our factory-trained technicians are assisting them in developing a second drag-race competition motorcycle for use in the AHDRA Sportsman Class, Super Gas division.”

     Seneca, co-owner Art John, and the crew of Red Dragon Racing will be competing in 11 national AHDRA competitions. Eight of the AHDRA races are scheduled to appear on ESPN/ESPN2 "Inside Drag Racing” in 2005. Check your local listings for dates and times.      The AHDRA, formed in 1977, is a national sanctioning organization hosting hundreds of competitors across the United States racing Harley against Harley in various levels of competition and multiple classes to match a range of rider interests. AHDRA events also allow spectators unparalleled access to pit areas so they can interact with racers and mechanics.
