Learning Responsibility - Pictured are SRO Alessi and SRO Baltes in Mrs. Ferro’s first-grade classroom. The smiles in the picture confirm the great job the class did on the tough questions about “responsibility” that they answered so well. Officers Alessi and Baltes posted questions about what responsibilities the boys and girls would have, for example, at school. The answers were plentiful. They each received a responsibility chart to be completed the following week along with trophies to be collected for doing such a great job. A follow-up with the students proved to be positive as they stated, “they will keep practicing responsibility” for a long time.
