Reading and Keyboarding - Miss Heinrich and Mrs. Rooney have teamed up again this year to promote reading at St. Joseph School in Gowanda. The only difference is that they are taking it a step further. Not only is the fourth-grade class reading a novel a month for Book-It, but they are also using the “Island Reading Journey” program in computer class. This means that the students are not only reading, but they are also responding to their book for class and practicing important vocabulary skills in computer class.
