Perrysburg Conservation Club expands

The Perrysburg Conservation Club recently made some improvements to the facility grounds.

The Gowanda Correctional Facility inmates helped for three weeks in June to raise the roof and extend the clubhouse area. This was done by cost of materials only. They did an excellent job. This club is used in the community for events sponsored by the club and also utilized for rentals during the spring and summer seasons.

The Perrysburg Conservation Club, a non-profit organization, is planning a Building Fund Benefit that includes a pig roast, Chinese auction and raffles on Sunday, Aug. 29 from noon until 6 p.m. at the club grounds.

The club hopes to complete the pavilion area.

There will also be a raffle of a limousine ride to Seneca Niagara Casino for six people for six hours. The tickets for this raffle are $3 each.

Those interested in donating to the Chinese auction or who would like to help with the benefit or purchase raffle tickets should contact President Luther Albrecht at 532-2710 or 913-3734.
