Gowanda Free Library activities

As the reading program winds down, the staff of the Gowanda Free Library is getting ready to reward all those children who are interested to come and see Mr. “J” and his magic pirate show on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 2 p.m. This will be the first Saturday of resuming the fall schedule.

The Gowanda HSBC has helped with a cash donation to the library, bringing area children together again this summer to read and learn. Because of the bank’s generous donation, Gowanda Library is able to help encourage children to read.

For each child who finishes the program, a hard-cover book will be presented.

The Gowanda Library is pleased to be able to offer this program to the public and thanks HSBC, McDonald’s, Art’s Grocery and Goode’s Restaurant.
