Anniversary Celebrations - Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson, in photo on left, of LeRoy, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their attendants and family at the Red Osier Restaurant on June 12. Carl Johnson and the former Marsha Hopp were married on June 12, 1954 at the First Methodist Church in Gowanda. The couple has a son Ricky, and two grandchildren. Mr. Johnson retired from New York Telephone in Gowanda after 31 years of service. Marsha Johnson’s sister Berdena and her husband James Vance, of Vail Road, Gowanda, also celebrated their anniversary that day, their 56th.
