TLC appoints directorsThe Board of Directors of TLC Health Network (Tri-County Memorial Hospital and Lake Shore Health Care Center) elected four directors and four officers of the Board at the TLC Health Network’s Annual Meeting held on June 22 at Lake Shore Health Care Center. Four incumbent members of the TLC Health Board were re-elected to serve three-year terms as members of the board of directors. Craig Brown (Collins), Brian Fenzl (Hamburg), Mark Fenzl, MD (Hamburg) and Thomas Postle (Angola) will continue in their duties as directors of the TLC corporation. The board of directors is comprised of 13 voting members and three ex officio non-voting members. The board has full power and authority in the management and direction of the corporation and has all the powers and duties of a hospital governing body as provided by the New York Public Health Law and Regulations. Additionally, officers of the corporation were elected by the board and will hold their respective office for one year, except the chairperson, who will serve a two-year term. Elected as officers were: Craig Brown as chairperson; Virginia Cooper (Irving) as vice chairperson; Allen Peters (Collins) as treasurer; and Thomas Postle as secretary. Established in 2002 through the merger of Lake Shore Health Care Center in Irving and Tri-County Memorial Hospital in Gowanda, TLC Health Network provides a wide array of services including hospital care, dental care, primary care, chemical dependency, mental health services, long-term care and home health services.
