Perrysburg and Versailles Fire Co. Installation
The Gowanda Moose played host to the Perrysburg and Versailles Fire Companies April 17 as the firefighters held their annual installation of officers.
A large crowd was on hand to welcome the officers to their newly elected positions. Before the swearing-in ceremonies, a moment of silence was observed forthe firefighters’ fallen comrades, Dave Maitland, John Herman, Jare Ferry and Albert Arnold.
The Perrysburg Fire Company was established in the early 1900s, while the existence of the Versailles Fire Company dates from November 1937.
