American Legion Auxiliary Unit 409 has just been approved to add a parade marching unit to the post’s other Color Guard unit. The women’s unit would march with the Legion unit as a Legion family. They believe this to be a visible aid to inform the community of their existence, diversity, and ultimately, their purpose, The auxiliary is formally requesting financial assistance from the community to help them in this endeavor.

     Specifically, they are soliciting donations to aid in the purchase of marching uniforms so that they would be ready to march in the Memorial Day Parade.
