Pioneer Days 2004 is quickly approaching. This year Gowanda Chamber Pioneer Days will be held the weekend of May 20-23.

     New this year will be a Picture Pageant. For more information, contact Misti Eastland at 532-9053. There will be carnival rides and attractions throughout the weekend.

     Friday, May 21 will be Teen Night with music throughout the evening. Also, Friday night will feature the Pioneer Days 5K, 1/2 mile fun run and the Toddler Dash.

     Saturday, May 22 will kick off with a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, Battle of the Bands (contact Deb or Mike Hutchinson at 532-4077) starting at noon and the weekend begins to wind down with the Pioneer Days Parade starting at 6 p.m.

     The Giant Finale will be on Saturday, March 23 with a magic show to be held at the high school auditorium at 2 p.m.

     The Gowanda Area Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to sharing this festival with everyone and their family.
