Donation - On Saturday, Jan. 24, Gowanda Recreation Commission members John Dedloff, Misti Eastland and Denise George attended the Ninth Annual Gowanda-Area All-Sports Awards Banquet. An award was presented that reads as follows: “Dear John: On behalf of the Ninth Annual Gowanda-Area All-Sports Awards Banquet, we would like to present the Gowanda Recreation Commission a check for $100 to be used for the new play structure at St. John Park. We realize that several individuals like yourself have volunteered many hours in order to provide a quality recreation program for the people of Gowanda area to enjoy. We appreciate and support the endeavors of the Gowanda Recreation Commission. Sincerely, Mark P. Benton, Banquet Chairman.”
