The Gowanda Area Chamber of Commerce announces that plans are under way for the 2004 Music in the Park series. This year, the free music programs will be held on Thursday evenings beginning at 6:30. All concerts are held at the gazebo at Chang-Hu Park.

     Funding for Music in the Park is provided by the area villages and towns and by a grant from the Cattaraugus County Council for the Arts. Last year, a total of 10 concerts were offered with a variety of musical groups ranging from the big band sound to bluegrass. This year, it is hoped that a special concert for children will be a part of the program.
