They're Off! - The Fat Tuesday Burger-Eating Contest gets under way at K&L Lanes with seven contestants vying for the title.
The Burger King - Ben Hewitt of Gowanda is this year's winner of the Fat Tuesday Burger-Eating Contest at K&L Lanes in Gowanda. Downing nearly 10 cheeseburgers earned him the title, a gift certificate and a basketful of goodies. Hewitt, clad in victory boa and beads, is congratulated by K&L Lanes owner Lew Gabel.
