Official Installation - Town Justice Norman Peters swore in the new officials for the Town of Collins at the town hall on what was a comparatively balmy New Year's Day afternoon. Ken Martin, with 14 years as a town councilman, was sworn in as the new town supervisor. Newly elected Dave Tessmer and Alan Butzer were sworn in as town councilmen. Paul North was sworn in as a town justice for his fourth four-year term. Lloyd Reeves was sworn in as an assessor. He has filled that post for the past 16 years. Bob Peglowski, also re-elected as an assessor, was unable to attend and will be sworn in at a later date. There were between 20 to 30 people in attendance to witness the affair and enjoy the variety of hors' d'oeuvres and fruit punch that were served. From left are: Paul North, Alan Butzer, Ken Martin, Norman Peters, Dave Tessmer and Lloyd Reeves.
