Decades of Memories - Perrysburg resident John Benton holds a collage of clippings, photos and awards from his 30-year career. Benton was one of many area sports VIPs to make a cameo appearance at the History of Gowanda Sports Exhibition. Regarding his 30-year cycling venture, Benton says it takes "discipline and hard work, but it's part of the challenge to break through the barriers." Benton, who now uses a cycle simulator in his basement during bad weather, has not missed one day of cycling in the past two years.
