During the 2003 holiday season, the Gowanda Lions Club and the Kiwanis Club will again coordinate a holiday program to provide gifts to needy children in Gowanda and the surrounding area. The two organizations will combine their efforts to develop financial support, identify children who will benefit from this program, obtain appropriate gifts and assist in the distribution of the gifts. The clubs will work closely with the "People-to-People Program" at the L.K. Painter Center to help make the holidays joyous for children throughout the area.

     Those knowing of children who will be in need this holiday season should contact David Williams (532-9590) and provide names, ages, gender and addresses.

     Individuals or organizations wishing to make a financial contribution to help support this program should make checks payable to Kiwanis Club of Gowanda and mail them to Kiwanis Club of Gowanda, Attention: Karen Volk, 2069 Smithcrest Drive, Gowanda, NY 14070.
