GCS retirees
Retirees - Of the Gowanda teachers and staff retiring this year only these six, representing 119 years of service, were able to be present at the recent Board of Education meeting to be recognized. The board has instituted a policy where a tree will be planted on school grounds in the spring for each retiree as part of the grounds landscaping. Each retiree is then given a plaque inscribed with their name and the type of tree planted in their memory.
