Concert Openers - On Friday evening, Oct. 24, local rock band Frosted Donkey opened for nationally known favorites 10,000 Maniacs at the Jamestown Community College homecoming weekend. Frosted Donkey is a group of current and former Pine Valley High School students, including sophomores Christian Carlson of South Dayton, Travis Milliman of Leon, Logan Foster of South Dayton, and Brian Panikowski of Cherry Creek, along with Pine Valley graduate Jimmy Rowley of Conewango Valley. Frosted Donkey has recently completed a demo CD at Outer Limits recording studio in Buffalo. The group has been together for three years and has recorded several original tunes. They have played in Buffalo, Silver Creek, Fredonia, Jamestown and Gowanda.
