     Friends of the Collins Public Library will present Music in the Library featuring Christopher Shaw on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. The library is located at 2341 Main St. in Collins.

     An Adirondack singer, songwriter and storyteller, Shaw's music is steeped in the lore of the American Northeast.

     He has several recordings to his credit, including his 1988 debut "Adirondack."

     Shaw has also been featured on several public television documentaries, including "Christmas in the Adirondacks" and "Adirondack Storytellers."
