Gowanda Home & Garden Tour 2003

Gowanda Home & Garden Tour 2003
Armes Court - A federal/Georgian revival constructed in 1948, the home of Bill and Cindy Sutherland is one of the first to be built on this bluff overlooking Gowanda. Family heirlooms, collectibles and souvenirs abound throughout the abode as testament to family heritage and travel interests. Beyond the back door are herb and flower gardens, a plus to this leg of the Sept. 21 Home and Garden Tour. (Photo by Mary Pankow.)

25 Orchard Place - Of English country-style design, the home of Stephen Meyers, vintage 1913, is finished in stucco over 13-inch solid brick walls. Once a Wilhelm family property for staff housing, the stylish home features 10-foot-high ceilings, four fireplaces and the luxury of large windows that brighten the interior; bathing it in natural light. French doors also grace the home, part of the Tour of Homes and Gardens. (Photo by Mary Pankow.)
