Honorees - At a recent meeting of Phoenix Lodge #262 F&AM, with Frank Rice, Master of the lodge presiding for the special Awards Night presentations, pins and certificates were given to several members based on their years of membership in multiples of five years. The Master was assisted in the presentations by Patrick Kelley, district deputy of the Cattaraugus District, representing the Grand Lodge of New York. Only two recipients were given awards for 60 years of membership. Donald Campbell and Charles Van Etten joined Phoenix Lodge on the evening of December 1, 1943 - 60 years ago. Sue Torrance, daughter of Campbell, had the privilege of presenting her father with his award. Charles Van Etten's wife, Betty, presented him with his pin and certificate. These two men have given 60 years of faithful service and dedication to this special fraternity. All in attendance extended congratulations and sincere thanks to them for the time and effort they have so willingly given.
