Blueberry Ridge is ready for blueberry lovers.
Blueberry Ridge is ready for blueberry lovers.

Fruit ripe for picking

Going into its third year of business, Blueberry Ridge is a family run U-pick blueberry patch.

Established in 2000 when Margaret and Wally Raupp purchased the property, Blueberry Ridge features three acres of blueberries in a peaceful country setting.

Joined by the couple's daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Jim Kruger, the operation keeps them hopping from mid-July through August.

"I enjoy getting to know the customers," says Michelle. "It's nice to visit with those who've been here in previous years and this is a terrific way to meet new people!"

Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Blueberry Ridge is located at 12201 Gowanda State Road. While most of their business is U-pick, you may place an order for pre-picked berries by calling 337-2037.
