Class of 1936
Reunion in 2001
   Class reunion - On Saturday, Aug. 25, (2001) the Gowanda High School Class of 1936 celebrated their 65th class reunion at LaValle's Restaurant in Collins. Fourteen of the graduates, with spouses and friends, gathered for the celebration. Several classmates who live too far away to join the group, sent letters telling of their families and their activities. Charles Van Etten, class vice president, shared each of the letters with the group. Each person present received a bookmark reading, "These were the days" on one side and "GHS 1936 - 2001" on the other.
   Pictured in row one, from left, are: Elvira (Scott) Schacholt, nMinerva (Wells) McIntyre, Wanda Woltz, Leota (Lacey) Ratzel, and Pauline (Dewey) Pfeffer.
   In row two are: Angeline (Steklasa) Catalano, Edgar Clark, Irene (Capella) Graves and Walter Frenzel.
   In row three are; Leroy Harvey, Stanley Victor, Lloyd Rohrich, Charles VanEtten and Albert Arnold.
